About Dr Alorna Dolan, DC, CACCP
Dr Alorna is interested in the health of your whole family. She made her life changing decision to become a chiropractor after she witnessed first hand how chiropractic care drastically changed her son’s life when he was an infant. She has done her postdoctoral training in pediatrics and pregnancy through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is fully certified in both pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic care. Dr Alorna is also certified in the Webster Technique, which helps moms-to-be who are carrying their baby in the breech or transverse position. Dr Alorna attended Murray State University in Murray, KY where she concentrated her undergraduate studies on Biology and Chemistry. She received her Bachelor of Life Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, American Chiropractic Association, and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. After internships in St Louis offices including Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital she practiced in a pediatric and pregnancy based chiropractic office in the Northwest suburbs. She taught classes in pregnancy relaxation techniques at the local hospital and continues to teach pregnancy related courses at Copley Hospital in Aurora, IL. She works with some of the top pediatricians, obstetricians, midwives, and doulas in the area and is widely known for her expertise in providing chiropractic care to children and pregnant women.
